Som värdnation är Sverige direktkvalificerat medan övriga nationer spelar ett regionalt kval under våren och sommaren 2020.
16 lag kommer spela i fyra grupper och göra upp om världsmästartiteln. Gruppindelningen kommer göras utifrån ranking och lottning. Lottningen kommer hållas i Uppsala under sommaren 2021. Nedan följer grupper och spelorter för VM-kvalet.

Qualification Playing System
As decided by the IFF Central Board, the Women’s WFC 2021 Qualifications will be a Future of Floorball test event. This means that match time will be 3 x 15mins and teams will be limited to 17 players on their official team list.
In Europe, each team will play once against each of the other teams in their group. Based on the results from these group matches, a total of 11 teams will qualify according to the following:
– The three best teams from each qualification group will qualify; and
– The the two best 4th placed teams will qualify.
The calculation of the best 4th teams will follow this order: 1. Average number of points 2. Average goal difference 3. Average scored goals 4. Lottery drawing
In AOFC , each team will play once against each of the other teams in their group. Based on the results from these group matches, a total of 3 teams will qualify according to the following:
– The three best teams will qualify
In Americas , the teams will play each other twice and based on the results of these matches, one team will qualify.
