On Wednesday the 17th of November, the Swedish government announced that vaccination certificates are planned to be introduced at public events with over 100 people in the audience in Sweden from the 1st of December. This includes the upcoming World Championships in Uppsala. The WFC will be played in IFU Arena in Uppsala between the 27th of November and the 5th of December. The announcement from the government means that all spectators over 18 years must be able to present a valid vaccination certificate from the 1st of December.

The local organisers of the WFC are currently seeking more information on how this will work in detail. More information will follow as soon as decisions are made.
